Interview
I was invited to an interview by someone from HR and was expecting an HR interview. It was a technical interview instead. The interview consisted of some questions and a live coding session without any prior warning of there being live coding. The interviewers were unprepared and stalled by asking questions while they got their code exercise up and running. One of the interviewers was also late for the call. I was also told the position was mid-level but was rejected because I wasn't at the "senior-level" they need for this position.

Interview
I went through 4 rounds of interviews: I started first with a hiring firm that was working with Eastbanc Technologies. I had the opportunity to be introduced to and interviewed on the spot by the current CTO of the company. I then met with a project manager and the director of Marketing the following week, and few days later the head of HR and the CEO. It went into details of my professional history, my portfolio and how my role played a part in each of the companies I worked with. There was an emphasis on how I work within a team, how I position myself in it and how I deal with client work.

Smooth process. Be ready for 3+ interviews. 1:1, 2:1 and group interview. It shows the company selects candidates carefully and respect group opinions. It’s a sign of health company culture.
