I should've known something was wrong when I entered the lobby and found the reception desk completely unstaffed. I waited a full 10 minutes before anyone approached, and it seemed they were even more confused than I. When I finally met with someone, it wasn't even the interviewer, just a staffer whose only purpose seemed to be placing me in a room with the air conditioner purposely turned off. She answered very few questions, then after I was left waiting for a few minutes, I was shown to another office, where an even less qualified interviewer was waiting. By then, I was already tired and sweating. She asked me a technical question; my answer seemed to have confused her. It was all downhill from there. My theory that this practice was intentionally meant to treat applicants poorly was verified when I observed the next applicant shuffled into the very same containment room I had been in.
