      Frontend Developer Interview

      5 Mar 2021
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Barcelona
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied online. I interviewed at DocPlanner (Barcelona) in Feb 2021

      Interview

First was a call with HR, second an interview where they try to understand your profile technical. The last step is a whole day where there is a feature you have to implement. They provide you with an initial template but nothing special. You have to add a UI library, configure test also linter if you need to extend them. They focus more on the architecture of your solution but in the end, they want all to be testable and also to have very clear code, etc. I find it very weird that they believe to happen all this in a couple of hours, I consider myself a fast developer regarding doing many things but I can not imagine fulfilling their expectations in that time. Is totally a rally development that day. I would not recommend this company, is one of the 2 worst cases I found in my career. Also, their communication is very slow. They reply to me after 10 days.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They check your solution with the main focus on the architecture, create store, components.

      Frontend Developer Interview

      5 Jul 2022
      Anonymous employee
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at DocPlanner in Mar 2022

      Interview

The process in general is shorter than other ones that I've been part in. It consists on 2 meetings + technical challenge First of all a first contact meeting with the recruiter, one of the frontend managers and one frontend dev, to get to know each other. They asked me a couple of question regarding my background, my motivations to change, etc. Then I was asked to do a technical challenge in 72h. Tbh it was not the most difficult one but for the time you have it's not easy and requires some dedication. Finally, this challenge was reviewed with 5 more Senior devs in a live code review were they asked question for almost 2h.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

They want to know you both your personal and technical backgrounds. I learned a lot in the technical interview and It was really nice. It was more like a code review among peers than a proper interview.
