I applied through university. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (New York, NY) in Dec 2015
Interview
I was contacted by email for the corporate finance super day interview at their office in NYC. The first round interview, I was interviewed by two men, one of them was a lot nicer than the other. The interview started out personal, they were mainly interested in my background. However, towards the end it got a lot more technical and I was asked some mental math problems.
I was disappointed with the disregard towards diversity - my interviewers did not seem to care about it at all. However, the dbAchieve program is supposed to be geared towards diversity.
Consisted of 2 rounds of interviews. First was non-technical, followed by a technical second round. Not tremendously difficult in comparison to other firms on the street. I recommend every who needs a sophomore internship to apply there, as it was one of the best summers I've had.
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Deutsche Bank (New York, NY) in Dec 2016
Interview
Submitted an application online. Received an email a few weeks later with a personality screen. Following the screen, was called into a "superday" with one 30 minute interview on Thursday and 2 30 minute interviews on Friday for chosen candidates.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Mostly fit-based questions. Had prepared heavily for technical questions, but as it was a sophomore program I suppose, I received almost none. Was asked about specific points on my resume. Friday interviews were much more laidback than the initial one on Thursday (more intense fit questions like: what are your 3 strengths/weaknesses?)
