I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Daiichi Sankyo in Jan 2026
Interview
In the beginning it felt slow, but once I had my first interview, the process had a good timing and cadence. Most communication was done via email and all interviews were virtual.
I had an interview with the recruiter and then with the hiring manager. I received an email saying that I would be moving forward in the process. After a week of not hearing anything, I followed up and was told they were not done with first round interviews yet. Then I was completely ghosted. I followed up with the recruiter and got no reply. Then I followed up again and copied the manager. I finally received a generic email saying that they have decided to “move forward with another candidate whose background and experience more closely match the requirements of the position.” No real response. No explanation.
Wow. Speechless. What a messed up interview “process.” Some company culture they must have.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Daiichi Sankyo (Cleveland, OH) in Jun 2025
Interview
I recently interviewed with Daiichi Sankyo for an Oncology Territory Manager position, and the experience was both engaging and insightful. From the initial outreach to the final conversation, the process was structured, respectful of my time, and gave me a strong sense of the company’s culture and expectations.
Pros:
Professional and Transparent Communication: Every step of the process was clearly outlined, and the recruitment team was timely and responsive. I appreciated their consistency and attention to detail.
Challenging Yet Fair Questions: The interviews pushed me to reflect deeply on my oncology knowledge, sales performance, and ability to think strategically—especially in complex market environments.
Strong Focus on Culture and Collaboration: I was encouraged to ask questions about the team dynamic, leadership style, and opportunities for growth. The managers I met seemed genuinely invested in building a supportive and high-performing team.
Innovative Pipeline Discussion: I appreciated how open they were about their ADC pipeline and the competitive landscape, which helped me understand their long-term vision.
