The interview process with DHL was structured and multi‑stage, designed to assess both aptitude and role fit.
1st : GIA Assessment
The first step was the GIA (Graduate Induction Assessment), which tested logical reasoning, problem‑solving, and analytical skills. It was a timed online test and served as the initial filter before moving to interviews.
2nd : Virtual Interview – ASM
The second round was a virtual interview with the Area Sales Manager (ASM). This was focused on my background, sales experience, and customer engagement skills. The ASM asked situational questions to understand how I handle client relationships and operational challenges.
3rd : Virtual Interview – Zonal Manager + ASM
The third round was another virtual interview, this time with the Zonal Manager along with the ASM. This discussion was more strategic, covering DHL’s market positioning, growth opportunities, and how I could contribute to the team. They also tested my ability to align sales execution with broader organizational goals.
4th : In‑person Meeting – ASM
The final stage was an in‑person meeting with the ASM. This was more of a culture‑fit and rapport‑building conversation. It gave me a chance to understand the team dynamics and expectations, while also reinforcing my interest in the role.
