I had a very disappointing interview experience with Cytiva. I completed four rounds of panel interviews and initially had a positive impression of the hiring team. However, the post-interview communication was extremely unprofessional and frustrating.
After the interviews, I received no timely updates despite several follow-ups. Promises to provide updates were repeatedly broken, and it felt as though I was being completely ignored. I finally received a response five weeks after my final interview, even though the company website stated that candidates could expect results within 10 to 15 days.
When the recruiter finally called, I missed the first call but immediately tried to reconnect. I called back multiple times, sent an email with my availability, and followed up again, yet received no response. When we eventually connected, the entire conversation lasted less than a minute, and I was simply told that the team had chosen another candidate, with no feedback provided.
The whole experience left me feeling disrespected and disappointed. The lack of professionalism and communication from the recruiting side completely changed my perception of the company.
