I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Currys in Jan 2021
Interview
Applied and got a phone call about 4 days after, invited for an interview 2 days later. Interview lasted 1 hour and involved basic recruitment questions and a role play, also went through ur cv and asked questions about your experience and skills. Had to go out on to the shop floor and try sell a staff member a mobile phone including extras like bundles and insurance etc. Got a phone call the following day saying I was successful and got offered the job. The interview process was neutral-a bit difficult but just show your interest in learning more and you’d be absolutely grand :)
I was asked general questions about my work experience, communication skills, and availability. After I had to demonstrate my sales skills by pretending to sell a TV to the person interviewing me. The process wasn't too difficult and the interview was very relaxed.
First initial phone call, standard interview where they asked questions on motivations
then second interview role-playing of a selling of a television, then once again motivational questions asked again but it was easier
