I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Currys (Chatham, England) in Sept 2016
Interview
Applied online and was called a few days afterward to be invited to an interview. Face to face interview consisted of a competency interview, a role play with the interviewer (selling a choice of fake tablets to an imaginary customer) and a store experience talking to customers or staff members. This was around a week ago and I am still yet to hear feedback.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
1: Have you had any sales experience?
2: Describe a time where you have shown resilience.
3: Describe a time where you have had to meet targets.
Definitely the easiest interview I had ever done. It was just an informal chat with one of the managers with really simple and straightforward questions and asking about my availability.
Initial group interview and then one to one afterwards. Very relaxed setting and was made comfortable by staff undertaking interview. The whole process was very quick and communication was great.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Currys
Interview
Fairly easy, staff were friendly and a smooth process. The employers do not make you feel pressurised, it helps when you have previous sales experience but if you show them you are eager to learn and are engaged in tech. they'll definitely want you.
