Interview
For freshers, the hiring process is through campus alone. This invloves the initial cut off which most companies require like 70% agregate, no outstanding backlogs etc. Then you have a written test which comprises both verbal and quant as well as technical. Most of the time the technical questions have more to do with the company's primary product. Then you have a personal/ HR interview.

Question 1
Though its widely known that the writtens is the difficult egg to crack, I believe that the personal interviews are also tough to crack. If the no. of candidates who have cleared the writtens are more, the interview is an elimination round. It is important to be honest and earnest. The most important question would be "what do you expect from this job?" To give a convincing answer without sounding insecure nor arrognant is important.
