Recruitment is a mess in this company.
First they approached me through multiple recruiters. Finally I gave in and decided to explore AV space, I agreed to one of the recruiters. She connected me to a team member (very swiftly).
First round of interview went really well. Then total silence. When I inquired about it, she said feedback was positive and the hiring manager would like to talk to you. Hiring manager was from a complete different area (rigid body dynamics instead of localization). He heard my experience and asked me if I am willing to work on rigid-body dynamics (to which I said NO). He took the notes and said someone from localization will contact you. Then a new localization recruiter went back to square 1, took notes again and emails me next day. Unfortunately, we do not have any position which matches your skillsets.
I mean what the heck, first they approach me and tell me what to prepare for interview (for which I spent my entire July 4th weekend). After successful interview, they comeback and say there is no position.
Don't waste your time on these confused recruiters. Unless you are going through a personal contact or being contacted by an engineer, it is not worth pursuing it.
