I applied through other source. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Cream Consulting (Brussels) in Feb 2026
Interview
- telefonisch kennismaken
- ter plaats kennismaken
- voorbereiding voor de echte sollicitatie met de klant
Ik had de functie nog niet gezien. Ik vond het jammer. Uiteindelijk heb ik voor iets anders gekozen.

Dear,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience.
Our recruitment process is designed to present several project opportunities to candidates. When a specific mission is already identified, we may not always have a fully detailed job description available at that stage.
We understand that this can be frustrating and appreciate your feedback. As we are always looking to improve, please feel free to share more details directly with the person you were in contact with, or via Glassdoor.
We wish you all the best in your future opportunities.

Interview
It had all started pretty well, though. I applied through LinkedIn, and a week later I received a call from an HR person for an initial phone interview. At the end of that call, she offered me a second on-site interview with a business manager a few days later. That’s when the first red flag appeared: the person I was supposed to meet was late, and when someone finally came to get me, they told me he wasn’t available and that two other people would conduct the interview instead. Unexpected things happen, sure, but it felt a bit like a lack of preparation on their part.
The interview itself went smoothly afterwards; they introduced me to Cream and the conversation went well. I was nevertheless quite surprised by some rather intrusive questions, such as the names of the other companies I had applied to, many very specific questions about my current salary package, and the one that comes close to being illegal: my legal status (married, with or without children…). Anyway, the interview ended, and about a week later I received an email saying they wanted to move forward with the recruitment process.
A few days later, I got a call about a project that required on-site work at least four days a week, more than an hour’s drive from my home even outside rush hour. Obviously, I declined. The person on the phone told me they had other projects that might interest me and that they’d contact me before the end of the week.
Friday came, and I hadn’t heard anything. I gave them a few extra days. About ten days after our last exchange, I sent a follow-up email. One month later, I’m still waiting for a response.
In the end, I tell myself I dodged a bullet. When I see how they treat candidates — when they’re still trying to sell themselves — I can’t imagine how employees are treated once the illusion fades, and I understand a bit better the comments from former employees.
