The guy who interviewed me had no clue what an IT/UX Designer does. He kept saying the job description required "heavy tech" skills even though the job description itself was an average/standard Designer role that was 100% aligned with my skills and experience. It's as if the interviewer never read the description and didn't know what designers do, eg., working with wireframes to prototype designs is a required part of the work, not a "heavy tech" skill that few designers have. I've done wireframing for years and told the interviewer so but he kept mumbling on and on as if he was talking to himself.
