The interview process was long and extraordinarily frustrating/ misleading. It started with an application, then a first-round interview, then an assessment, and then an interview with the founder. There was a roughly three to four-week gap between any of these pieces, and I all-in dedicated several months and tens of hours to this process. If you're comfortable with biology and statistics, none of these steps were difficult. I was a biology major and found it quite easy. The most frustrating part for me was the interview with the founder. At several points, she indicated or blatantly said I was her top choice candidate/ had performed almost perfectly up until then. She actually told me to start looking at things to do/ restaurants she likes/ places to live in the area where CC is located. I was shocked, then, to not move on to the next round of interviews. Following the rejection, I reached out to everyone I spoke to individually as well as the recruiter who blatantly asked me to write her back. I have sent several follow-up emails in the months since asking for constructive feedback and heard nothing. This is quite frustrating given the false promises and time I put in.
