I applied in-person. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle in Oct 2015
Interview
Good initial interview, 2 total interviews, 1st interview was with hiring manager, overall manger, and grill head. It was smooth, reasonably timed (maybe 20 minutes) and not pressured. The second interview was with two crew members, it was good as well. The negatives come into play when it comes communication and time wasted. I constantly had to follow up, even to get the first interview, they never called or emailed even when they said they would. Though I had came to 2 interviews and received all positive feedback and was told they'd love to have me on board from each, I was told the job had been filled the last time I followed up. I felt my time was wasted and I was disappointed because not only was I the only party following up, but often times when I did, the hiring manager was seldomly available and it didn't seem like he really even reviewed my application. All in all, the interviews were good, but communication was terrible.
I applied online. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Denton, TX)
Interview
Interview process was straightforward and easy. You submit an online application. Then you do an in-person interview with a manager. The manager I met with was very friendly and the youngest ever at this branch (or district). She asked me general questions about my background, if I had experience working in customer service, food, etc., my availability, and asked if I had any questions.
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Melrose Park, IL) in Jan 2022
Interview
It was very short and easy half the time these companies are in desperate need for employees and just want somebody with flexible schedules and someone who is reliable. Just smile and relax. I personally didn't even get asked that many question just got hired

Question 1
What do you think describes a good customer interaction?
The process lasted less than 10 minutes, and all the questions asked I was prepared for since I found them online the night before. Simple things like "where do you see yourself in 6 months," and "what makes you want to work here". Everything was extremely casual and it was not a group interview since I was hired during COVID-19.
