I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (Tuscaloosa, AL) in Sept 2015
Interview
I applied on line and received an invitation email to come in 2 week later, which was Labor Day. I arrived about 25 minutes early. The interview was a group interview with 4 other people and two managers. They were really unprofessional and gross. One manager started licking the other manager's hand right in front of us.They asked really basic questions and told us that we would get a call back in a few days and if we did not to call back. I received an email today saying that we cannot offer you a position at this time. Overall, I would not recommend applying to this company if you are a college student because they do not want to hear that you are planning to leave in the future. They want you to stay and become a manager. They stress the fact that they want friendly and enthusiastic people, but the managers we met with were just childish and unprofessional.

I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
