I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Chipotle (La Canada Flintridge, CA) in Oct 2014
Interview
I went in and I was interviewed by the general manager with one other guy who was also there for an interview which is how chipotle conducts interviews. I briefly talked to a manager passing by and after she said she would call us back if she wanted us to do a second interview. I got a call back a few days later and went to talk to the service manager and she asked me the same things thinking that it was my first interview. I told her it wasn't and she took me to the back of the house to meet and talk to the employees. They didn't let me know right away and after about a week I think I called them back and asked the status of my employment and she said I got the job!! I started my background check and that took a while so I think I started about 3 weeks after they offered me the job.

I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
