I applied online. The process took 4 days. I interviewed at Chipotle (Kansas City, MO) in Jun 2015
Interview
I applied on Saturday night around 10pm. I then got a call that Wednesday around 7:50pm but couldnt answer so I returned the call around 8. Over the phone he asked when was I available to come in for an interview and I said as soon as possible. He set the time for 2:00pm for the very next day. I arrived at the chipotle about 15 minutes before my interview and everyone was welcoming. I first had an interview with the owner of the restaurant and that lasted less than 10 minutes. This interview went really well. Then he told me to hold on. I had second interview with the manager and she really liked me, and that interview lasted less than 10 minutes as well. She also told me to hold on. My last interview was with an employee and we had a conversation based on likes and interests, this was also less than 10 minutes. After that was done I waited for about 10 minutes and the owner of the store offered me a job on the spot!
I read so much about the company because i read other interviews and thats what they said to do, but no questions were asked about the company with all three interviews. Also be sure to smile A LOT and have PERSONALITY!
Easy, straight forward questions. Started as a group interview and ended up being offered the job along with 2 other people. It was very casual and no pressure. Interviewer was friendly.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
Explain a time when you handled an upset customer?
Asked questions about what positions work best for you, why you want to work there, what makes you a good fit there, where you see yourself in 5 years. Very simple and open to answer any questions I had
I applied online. I interviewed at Chipotle (Los Angeles, CA) in May 2026
Interview
Very brief, was only asked a few questions. I felt a decision about not hiring me was made before the interviewer even sat down. I suspect the interviewer was not accustomed to interviewing and may actually only standing in for a manager that was not working that day
