      Backend Software Engineer Interview

      5 Mar 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Chess.com in Feb 2022

      Interview

It started with a calendar invitation after I applied through their website. Recruiter was friendly and described well the interview process. Second step was filling in two forms: one about the feedback for the first recruiter and the other about either we write anything (option a) or we answer problem solving questions (option b). Questions were vague (on purpose?) I was rejected after this step. No explanation, no feedback.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

How would you describe N vs NP problem to someone not familiar with computer science?
