Applied for a fraud position and when recruiter reached out to me she said she would have me interviewing for merchant services. I asked her to email me a job ID number so I could review the position and come to the interview knowledgeable however there was no such job with that ID number on the website. I get to the interview and the guy interviewing me is in a plaid shirt, black jeans, and vans (very professional...). He starts the interview and its going well until he tells me they're actually only hiring for customer service and the fraud position (my original application) and the merchant services (what recruiter said I was interviewing for) had not hired for those positions for 5-6 months. He explained to me that Chase puts out very generic listings on their website to pull in a bunch of people to then tell them they are only hiring a certain position not even close to what they were really applying for.
