I had four interviews for a remote position: An initial phone interview, a technical interview where I was asked about best practices and platform features, a skype interview which was more of a meet and greet, and a practical interview to demonstrate my development skills done using screen sharing. The owner of the company was on the initial phone interview. They were flexible with interview dates, no fizzbang type questions, and told me what I would be doing for the practical interview so I wasn't surprised/ambushed. I didn't find it difficult, but it was about a platform that I have experience with.
