Initial phone interview was good, and the second interview with the hiring manager went well. The HR person asked me for availabilities, and scheduled me for a 3 hour interview the next day. Despite giving my availabilities, the interview was scheduled over that. Not a big deal, but it made my absence from the office that much more obvious. Within that same week, my supervisor interviewed an engineer from CashStar, and he indicated that I was interviewed by them. Pretty ridiculous, considering I had to sign an NDA, prior to the interview. I was not given an offer, but I suspect that the person interviewing me was mining me for information, and leveraging my interview to position themselves.
