I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Capital One
Interview
1)Recruiter Screening Call 2)Mini-Case Interview - The recruiter sends you a mini-case packet with about 3 potential products you would discuss in the interview - Research each product from a business sense and technical sense - You will most likely have 2-3 questions regarding the product then the rest is saved for random questions(can be behavioral, analytical, etc) 3) Power Day Interview A) Analytical - Common business question most people know about (can be banking related but also might be random) - Ask questions to get more data/info from the recruiter (they won't just give all the data) B) Product Design - Will be given a prompt + user data about a design problem - Given the design question and a few minutes to set up a framework - The interviewer will work through the issue but only where you lead them C) Product Skills - Talk about your role and experiences of building a product from 0-1 - I do not recommend practicing a script when prepping for this, just know your experiences D) Behavioral - Not many "tell me about a time" questions - you will be asked questions to test your knowledge on product management All interviews are very conversational Quick responses from company after each round

I applied online. I interviewed at Capital One in Mar 2026
Interview
The final interview is Power Day - 4 interviews all in a row via video call. Two of the interviews are formatted more like a consulting case study. For the other two interviews, you must talk through a product you led and then do a product sense case study. My product case study was designing an experience for the DMV.
The interview process consisted of 1 phone interview, 1 interview with a person at capital one, and 3- 4 hours of interviews for case review. The super day interviews were 2 cases with math and 2 more behavioral/walk me through your experience interviews.
