      Senior Recruiter Interview

      21 Apr 2013
      Anonymous interview candidate
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through an employee referral. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Capita in Mar 2013

      Interview

The interview was for a job in the new Army resourcing wing. The setup was running weeks/months behind and it was evident that the new employees had little idea what was required of them. It didn't help that they had not foreseen any delays - people staring at computer screens without power was the norm. Phone interview was fairly standard and followed normal routes. Easy enough and able to convince the recruiter of suitability The interview was nominally based on a presentation and competency. However, it didn't really follow any normal interview process I had experienced before. The presentation became the focus and they displayed a natural inhibition to try anything new. It was evident that they weren't that interested in swift changes and that the job was going to be one of frustration. I left convinced they were not the company to work for.
