I went through 4 interviews and a final case study which I was asked to prepare as a final interview. The case study took me a week to prepare, and it was well done according to the HR Director. On my way to the case study interview in LA I got a call from the HR Director. He said that the Senior VP had some questions for me. I was literally 30 minutes from downtown LA for the final interview, and the Senior VP has questions about my last few jobs? One hour before the interview and a 2-hour drive through the slums of LA. The same questions that I answered for her subordinates 4 weeks prior. I felt I did quite well on the case study and in the end, they decided that their team did not agree with the job requisition and what they wanted. The other woman who was the other final candidate and I got totally screwed and there was no apology. CGI is a poorly run company or at least their Western Region is poorly run. I did not see much sales talent in the room. I feel I dodged a bullet as this company does not have that much IP anymore and they just grow through acquisitions.
