      I interviewed at Buildertrend

      Standard process- phone/video pre-screen, one panel interview with the person who would have been my supervisor, and two other people, then a final round with 3 others I'd have been working with. After not hearing from them for a few days after the final round of interviews, I figured they had gone with another candidate, which is totally fine. The thing that bothered me is that instead of sending a personal email letting me know they had gone with someone else, I received an email that's automatically generated when the job is closed out in the applicant tracking system. If someone makes it to the final round of the hiring process, they deserve a personal email from the recruiter they've been dealing with. It came across as disrespectful of my time and the effort I had put in to the process.
