      Cyber Security Engineer Interview

      Anonymous employee
      Saint Louis, MO
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Easy interview

      Application

I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at Boeing (Saint Louis, MO) in Feb 2009

      Interview

I was contacted at Lockheed Martin and asked to consider assisting Boeing on a proposal for the Army to modernize Cyber Security designs.

      Cyber Security Engineer Interview

      4 Dec 2023
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Huntsville, AL
      Declined offer
      Positive experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I interviewed at Boeing (Huntsville, AL)

      Interview

The interview process involved a phone screen with a fantastic recruiter who put the needs of the individual first and then sought to find a good fit. The second interview included a panel of interviewers who each took turns asking questions. Boeing has a specific way they want you to respond to their questions, but they provide a PDF of what to expect and give you the resources ahead of time so that you can be successful.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

The interviewers specifically ask that you not share specific questions, as they want to keep their questions internal. However, one of the off-script questions that was asked was a character/personality question regarding the question of being stuck on an island. They wanted candidates to think outside of the box, which was respectable.

      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Boeing (Oklahoma City, OK) in Mar 2020

      Interview

Uses the star method to evaluate potential candidates. I think as of 2021 they are doing virtual interviews except for those that have an in person position. Most managers are nice and questions are straight forward. Level 1-2 will be more team orientated questions while 3+ is technical.
