The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Boeing (Saint Louis, MO) in Apr 2009
Interview
I applied via their website. It was a panel interview, with 4 interviewers. They ask behavioral questions, ie, "Tell me about a time when......" and you have to give an example of what you did in that circumstance. If you apply for any job at Boeing, I would say to really study the job description, then translate that into behavioral questions that might be asked. ie, if "ability to work with other departments" is noted on the job description, think of some concrete and detailed examples of how you have done this successfully in the past. Check out jobinterviewquestions.org for more information on behavioral interviews.
The people interviewing me were very nice, professional, and tried to make me feel comfortable - panel interviews can be intimidating if you've not been through one. They seemed genuinely interested in finding the right fit, which doesn't necessarily mean you have to have tons of experience and high level degrees.
The culture seems to be serious yet relaxed - ie, work very hard but have fun in the process.
