I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Boehringer Ingelheim in Mar 2015
Interview
Having facetime interview with my supervisor-to-be. It was through a referral so the interview was quite relaxed and easy-going. No presentation or test were needed. However, normally candidates need to perform approximately 1-hour test consisting of excel exercise, powerpoint exercise and presentation.
In general, it was a great company to work. Working environment was relaxed and supportive. Good place for learning and starting the first steps in your career.
One round with your potential manager, pretty basic behavioral questions. Prepare to talk about your projects you've worked on, strengths and weaknesses, why the role, ask 1-2 at the end!
A phone call and then a powerpoint presentation in person along with an in person interview with two members of the team I would be working. It took in total about a month before hearing anything
I applied online. I interviewed at Boehringer Ingelheim in Jan 2026
Interview
There were 4 separate interviews. Two scientists and two managers. The interviews with the managers were quite easy. They provided a description of the role and some information about the company, and asked job-specific and behavioural questions. Heard back after two weeks
