I applied online. I interviewed at Blood (Singapore) in May 2026
Interview
Applied for the Finance Manager role. The process started with a written assessment that required building 12 months of P&L and cash flow projections from scratch, using what appeared to be actual company data. This took an entire evening to complete.
After submission, I did not hear back for approximately three weeks. I then received a WhatsApp message with less than 24 hours' notice asking me to attend an online interview the next day. The calendar invite listed three attendees: the Finance Director, the Co-Founder, and HR. On the day itself, only the Finance Director showed up. No explanation was given for the absence of the other two.
During the interview, the Finance Director mentioned that he and the rest of the finance team had reviewed my assessment. The 'rest of the finance team' turned out to be one executive. This is worth noting for anyone considering the workload expectations of this role.
After the interview, I received no response for several months. No rejection email, no follow-up, no feedback. I eventually received an automated rejection from a no-reply address, with no personalised feedback or acknowledgement of the time invested.
The role was removed from LinkedIn after my interview but as of today remains listed on the company website.
I would advise candidates to consider whether they are comfortable investing significant unpaid time into an assessment before any indication of mutual interest. Looking at other reviews here, my experience does not appear to be unique.
The HR reached out in LinkedIn to send an assessment for me to do. When I tried to clarify with the HR - no response was given after almost more than 2 weeks. Sad that they are trying to get external candidates to perform "free work", which is aligned with the comments here. What a waste.
Run, if you see this company! You are essentially dodging a bullet.

Interview
They reached out to me on LinkedIn to complete an assessment and it was quite time consuming. I applied for an FP&A role so the assessment required me to build 3 financial models using excel. I was thereafter, shortlisted for a 30min online interview and then I heard nothing since.
They didn't acknowledge the time and effort put into these assessment as they were very technical and I had spent 2 nights doing it. After reading through other's interview experience, I can see why it is disappointing, I had invested a lot but feels like the team is just sourcing ideas and tools that through this process of hiring. There is also lack of basic communication, I had to follow up after 2 weeks just to find out "Oh management decided not to proceed with you".
Considering that so much was invested into the assessment, very bad experience as a whole. Who knows if my work is being used right now in the company.
