I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Blackdot Consulting in Jul 2021
Interview
4 stages:
First was an intro call for general cultural fit.
Second was an online assessment which was a waste of time as it was only testing numeracy, spelling and logical reasoning.
Third was two case studies in one session, the first one being just explain what you see from the data set provided. The second was a genuine case study with time to present back. My critique is that the interviewing team had a very strict view of what the right answer was (as this was based on a real project Blackdot ran) and therefore any valid suggestions or answers outside of that strict scope were not considered correct which, in my opinion, is very wrong.
The final stage was a presentation.
They then told me they were deciding on one of two jobs that I would be a good fit for and never got back to me.

Question 1
How does your experience translate to what Blackdot does?
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Blackdot Consulting (Sydney) in May 2020
Interview
Applied for a Graduate Program that is deemed to be very competitive - all tests done virtually from finishing a Masters program.
Was a four step process which included a face to face interview after being selected from online applications. Questions were all fair and some behavioural, the interviewer was also an analyst but appeared tired and burnt out from the job.
Next was a personality/IQ test. Did very well in this and got in the top percentile. This lead to a case study. The case study was fair and all of these test went well. Spoke to a manager and then a director to present the case results based on a short scenario and then asking relevant questions.
Final interview was with one of the principles as a 'behavioural' one as to why you would work there and what you 'love in your life'. The principal was quite rude and judgemental, little acknowledgement to what you could add culturally to the firm. He didn't know basic salary questions and asked some complex questions, also done without video yet was on Skype (others were all videos). Overall HR process was sub bar being unprofessional emails and no automation.
Whole process was a month and no Job role offered - seems that analysts are overworked and favouritism regardless so probably for the best.
This is a confusing one, Blackdot has not run a grad program in 2021.
