Initially I was excited about the role since I thought I'd be a good fit and the company culture seems promising, but turns out even when you apply and get an interview scheduled, they ghost you and don't value your time. It's actually a complete waste of time. Recruiter had sent a link to schedule a call. Fast-forward to the scheduled time, I received no call/email informing that she cannot attend, and she only responds after I email her saying that she's sick and needs to reschedule. That's understandable so I reschedule more times to talk the following week and she confirms the meeting time. Fast-forward again to the scheduled time and she does not call/email. I email her to follow up if we're still having the call and she emails me back saying the role was closed and she didn't want to call me to waste my time. Since there was a meeting scheduled on her calendar, I would assume it wouldn't be too hard to send an email cancellation explaining that the role has been filled. Absolute waste of time.

The process is: 1. Screening with the recruiter 2. Call with hiring manager 3. Take home: 4. Onsite: 5 rounds -- systems design, technical (extension of the take home by adding arguments to commands), culture/behavioral, domain knowledge, and another with the HM. The process was kinda smooth until the virtual onsite. It has been three weeks, and still don't have a response. I have been ghosted.
