Contacted by third party recruiter who set up a telephone screening interview. A couple of telephone interviews followed as the manager was in a different province and due to fast-paced timing could not meet in person. They were on an unrealistic timeframe for hiring, but as such moved very quickly and invited me to Toronto for an array of in person interviews with HR, hiring manager, CEO, etc. To meet their schedule I took the red-eye and flew overnight from Western Canada. Process was well handled and interviews went well and the company seemed very adaptable and fast acting. However, they then took weeks to call me back and did so only to ask for another telephone interview and five minutes before this interview they informed the recruiter that this interview was for a different position. After that there was no further follow-up and they did not return calls to the recruiter. I know someone else who was left completely hanging with absolutely no follow-up after travelling to Toronto for interviews.
