The interview process was never ending, with each round leading to the next. Unfortunately, during each stage, the interviewers seemed disinterested as they hardly asked any questions and neglected to properly introduce themselves during the interviews. What stood out was that in all six rounds of interviews, each interviewer consistently mentioned internal candidates. While I respect internal promotions, it can be quite frustrating to invest so much time in multiple interview rounds, only to be left ghosted afterward. While I understand that as a candidate, the company may not owe me anything, this practice does reflect poorly on the company culture and suggests a lack of appreciation for candidates' time, especially when sending a rejection email could easily be automated. This experience has left me with no desire to pursue a position with this company, and I feel fortunate to have avoided a potentially unpleasant culture. It's always important to remember that the interview process is a two-way street, and if the interviewers are impolite or something feels amiss, it may be a blessing in disguise.
