Talk to the Owner and his son in their office. There doesn't seem to be any structure to it other than setting their getting to get to know each other.

Question 1
Typical for the job, experience, training, pay expected. At times the son was hostile and aggressive in his questions. These people want a lot from the employee but don't want to return the same to their employees. The owner doesn't come out into the field even though the employees are covered up with work. Also as in most trades you have to have experience verification from your employer to move up. This guy will not do that because he's afraid that you'll run him out of business.
