I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Bankers Life (Tampa, FL) in Dec 2015
Interview
You receive a call about a sales position and are invited for a group interview on the company, values, target market ect. Usually there's another 8-10 people. If you're called back you attend another group interview on commission, benefits, team focus, recommended work schedule ect. usually also 8-10 people from other group interviews trimmed down. If you're called back after the second, you'll one-on-one where they ask you basic questions about yourself to get a feel for your personality, history, outlook, and to judge if you're the right fit.

Interview
It started with a briefing seminar in a group before an in person interview. The questions were brief and in line with other sales jobs. Motivation seems to be the highest desire from the employer.
Very easy group briefing and then a personal one on one interview. You get to see exactly what you'll be getting into and the awesome structure of the company. You also get to see how you can develop your career there.
