Interview
I was pre-screened by contract company. i had two 30 minute interviews with BOA managers and a few weeks later the decision was made. The speed of interview process always follows the demand for work. Because there is so much work and so high turn over for qualified IT PM's the interview process is quick.

Question 1
We do our project management through excel documents... Can you keep up with that?
This is a Billion dollar bank. Come to find out we don't report directly to he main PMO. Different standards. It' also called a shadow IT PMO. Amazing how many company's still shove IT back in the corner even though they are spending millions on it.
The interview process was quick and clearly communicated. The interviewers are open to hiring candidates that are willing to work hard and learn, without focusing on technical skills too strongly.
I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Bank of America (Charlotte, NC) in Dec 2018
Interview
It was a two part interview.
First, a one hour phone interview. Pretty standard questions: tell me about your past experience, how do you feel you would be right for the role, how do you feel your experience would fit in the particular position.
Second interview was suppose to be in-person but due to scheduling conflicts we agreed on another phone interview. This ended up being a quick 30 minute call with the exact position requirements and expectations along with a few more standard questions.
All-in-all, both individuals were very friendly, well spoken people. They knew exactly what they needed to fill the position and didn't beat around the bush with trick questions.
