I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than a year

    Pros

Super company to work for, great opportunities to get promoted, learn, network.

    Cons

Generally focussed on American timescales, so need to be able to work / be flexible for evenings (when European based)

    Advice to Management

Keep doing what you do - it's a great place to work.

I worked at Bank of America full-time for more than 3 years

    Pros

Management take an interest in your career and if you are willing to work hard they will work with you to develop your skills and find good opportunities for you to grow

    Cons

You need to make yourself heard for growth opportunities - they won't come to you unless you look for them

I have been working at Bank of America full-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

good environment, good culture, consistent amazing financial results (but not trickling down), decent pension (but not the best in the market), healthcare for the whole family, decent pay (but a lot of places pay much better), good people in the right places. A lot of training, plenty of opportunities to move laterally (but not up). 25 days holidays (which is probably standard). They look after employees (but don't... promote easily). A lot of employee assistance programs. Fantastic office technology. The overall experience is priceless.

    Cons

Promotions take ages (you're better off in London than in Dublin, or leave, get experience, title and money, and come back a notch or two higher). Annual pay rises aren't great, pension contribution could be better (not market leading), bonuses are average, no car allowance. If you stay long, you'll be undervalued.

I have been working at Bank of America full-time

    Pros

Worked with some really decent people across all levels. Some good work opportunities. Good comp.

    Cons

Culture of advancing individuals who manage without conscience or moral compass whilst masquerading as caring people managers. Despite considerable anti bullying rhetoric, organisation will look the other way if it's ends justify the means.

    Advice to Management

Change the culture from the top down.
