I am writing to express my deep disappointment and concern with Azure Summit Technology's hiring practices.
Applied. Received email the next day. Got interview scheduled the same day.
During my interview process, it became shockingly clear that my country of origin and dual citizenship were not only scrutinized but were the direct reasons for the abrupt termination of my interview. The interviewer went as far as to question whether all my family members were citizens, an inquiry that is both irrelevant and inappropriate for a professional setting. This line of questioning clearly indicates a bias in their hiring process, disregarding my qualifications and focusing on personal details that should have no bearing on my ability to perform the job.
Such discriminatory practices are not only unethical but also go against the principles of equal employment opportunity. It's alarming and unacceptable for a company to make employment decisions based on nationality or citizenship status.I urge Azure Summit Technology to immediately review and rectify their hiring policies to prevent such discriminatory behavior. Potential candidates should be evaluated on their professional merits, not their personal background.
