I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Autodesk (San Francisco, CA) in Sept 2008
Interview
Initial phone screening by HR, then phone screening by hiring manager. Then 3 in-person interviews at the job site (included hiring manager). Then 2 additional phone interviews (they wanted to move fast because job req was going to be closed if they didn't hire someone). Nice office in San Francisco on Market St near Ferry Building. While I was waiting in lobby / coffee area, I saw a couple informal meetings taking place on the fly, so seemed like an interactive / energetic atmosphere - a young / hip type culture that you'd expect for San Francisco.

Question 1
Questions seemed pretty standard - i.e. tell me about yourself & experience, and why you think you'd be a good fit for this role. How do you prioritize work & projects? What processes do you follow?
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at Autodesk
Interview
It was fairly straightforward process. I had a conversation with the hiring manager, then a panel interview where I presented a former project, then individual 1-1 interviews with 3 xfn partners.

Question 1
How do you plan on getting up to speed on the construction industry?
It was a great interview process as I was able to understand what was expected of me from beginning to end in a timely manner. I also was able to have my interview questions addressed with clarity and enthusiasm.

Question 1
Tell me a time when you turned a challenge into an opportunity.
The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Autodesk (Boston, MA)
Interview
Autodesk has has reached out to me as a candidate for three different marketing jobs. Each time the recruiter talks up the opportunity, says I meet all the qualifiers, and has proceed to move me along in the process. In total, I have had 15 interviews and one on-site tour of their office and have only received overwhelming positive feedback. Six months into the process, I have received no formal rejection and no offers. After following up one last time, I have moved on from ever considering working for the company. I am disappointed with the lack of respect for my time and poor communication. I hope that they will improve their processes before wasting more candidates time in the future!
