I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Autodesk (Bengaluru) in Oct 2025
Interview
Multiple rounds of vetting with technical and behavioural questions including culture fit rounds. the HR round was the very begining that asked about current role and responsibilities and discussed about the package holding currently and the expectations.
I applied online. I interviewed at Autodesk in Jan 2021
Interview
Very arbitrary hiring process. First time I applied, got an email from technical recruiter asking to schedule a phone screen. Recruiter seemed impressed and ended the call on a positive note telling me to expect a response 'soon'. Radio silence for three weeks and then got a response (only after two email prompts from my side) saying the position had been filled by a more qualified candidate (I understand this). The recruiter encouraged me to be on the lookout for more positions since they are expanding.
A month later I applied to a new position with the same title and then radio silence for two months. Until finally receiving an auto-generated rejection email. Worst part ? They sent me detailed interview feedback surveys twice!!!
I'm confounded by how such a company with reputable software products has such a shoddy hiring process.
