      Systems Engineer Interview

      27 Jun 2014
      Anonymous interview candidate
      Charlotte, NC
      Declined offer
      Neutral experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Atrium Health (Charlotte, NC) in Jun 2010

      Interview

The interview process consisted of a preliminary phone interview, a tour of the facilities and 30-45 minutes of questions from the team. The questions asked were fairly typical. I got the impression that teams operated in a rigid siloed structure, which is normal for an organization this size. Overall there was nothing that really stood out, positive or negative.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

None of the questions were especially difficult. It was unexpected when they asked if I would be able to develop .Net applications for the platform.

I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Atrium Health (Charlotte, NC) in Apr 2019

      Interview

I did not take the job but here was my experience back in early 2019. I enjoyed the Interview and the team members were great. The dept. Mgrs were highly regarded, after meeting with them I can agree. Only downfall, their VMWare guy.He likes to be the smartest in the room but that just shows his weakness. VMWARE IS NOT A BIG DEAL DUDE.

      Anonymous employee
      Charlotte, NC
      Accepted offer
      Positive experience
      Average interview

      Application

I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atrium Health (Charlotte, NC) in Feb 2008

      Interview

I was forwarded to the company via a staffing agency. I interviewed with HR on the phone (general career questions and resume checking) and with a peer 1:1 in person. Moderate level technical questions. Followed by a 1:1 leadership interview in person. Background and situational interview, moderately difficult. Was contacted by the staffing agency within a week that the company had selected me. Completed a drug test and background investigation before starting work. Worked as a contractor through the staffing agency for one year before being brought on board full time - but the usual wait time is 90 to 120 days.
