Applied on Assurant careers site. Received an email from a recruiter, within a week, to conduct an initial phone screen. Was forwarded to the hiring manager (VP for Employee Relations) and phone screened. Then forwarded to an HR Director for a phone conversation. Forwarded to a conference call with 2 different HR Directors. Video interview with Hiring Manager. On site interview with peer in position. Finally an interview with the Albany, OR site Director.
After 6 different touch points, I received no further communication from this organization. I contacted the Recruiter two weeks after the final interview and still have received no response in 1 month since the final interview. This process made me feel strung along and left me highly disappointed in the organization's candidate management. I might be thankful I didn't receive an offer if this is any indication how they treat people and conduct business.
