      Manager Interview

      10 Jul 2017
      Anonymous interview candidate
Bradford, Yorkshire and the Humber, England
      No offer
      Negative experience
      Difficult interview

      Application

I applied through other source. I interviewed at Anchor (Bradford, Yorkshire and the Humber, England) in Jul 2017

      Interview

Application started with a telephone screening, then attended a interview with someone from HR and a area manager then I was to visit another home and meet a senior manager for a interview/discussion. The whole process was bizarre to say the least, third interview/discussion was held in a seating area in a corridor (I wasn't sure if I was actually being interviewed or not) staff and clients walking up and down so kept being put off or having to stop mid sentence until they had moved away . The person interviewing didn't take any notes. Not sure how you would ensure or demonstrate equity with your interview process with only one person interviewing and no notes being taken. I wasn't sure what skills or knowledge to demonstrate. At least the organisation I currently work for has a transparent interview process. So if this is Anchor's 'way of doing things' then I think I dodged a bullet
