I was contacted by the hiring manager. They asked me to do a challenge coding problem. Usually I don't waist my time on these requests. I spend half a day and I solved it correctly and efficiently ( time and space complexity wise). Much to my surprise they told me the hiring committee "... met and after reviewing all your materials, decided not to proceed further with your application". Waste of time.
