A recruiter reached out to me on LinkedIn and we communicated for about a week before I was invited to a phone interview with the hiring manager. That conversation led to an invitation to an in person interview at their Huntersville, NC office. I spent four hours interviewing with no less than five team members, all of whom were very pleasant and wanted to know a lot about me and my qualifications. I left feeling like ATD would be a great place to work because they have ambitious goals and a bright future. I was told they would follow up with next steps the following week. A few weeks later I reached out and was told that the position had been postponed for now, but I was well liked by everyone I had met, and they would let me know when they were ready to make the position available again. All in all, the process took about six weeks. I consider myself fortunate though, as it was a positive experience, great interview practice, and I was able to make new professional connections as a result of my time spent.
