I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at American Express in Mar 2016
Interview
It was a pleasant process. I applied online and then had a phone interview with a recruiter. A few days later I met the hiring manager and a colleague for a 1 hour panel interview. A week later I sat down with the hiring manager's Director. Everyone is incredibly professional and proud of American Express. Questions are mostly behavioural, and it comes as no surprise that 'Walk me through your resume' came up in each round.
I'm hoping to hear from them soon, but the timeline isn't that clear. No response to my thank you notes, so we will see.
I applied through an employee referral. I interviewed at American Express
Interview
I had an interview with the recruiter and heard back nothing even though I followed up 4 times. They answered my initial email but nothing afterwards even though I was told that I would be informed of their decision.
Nothing out of the ordinary for a large organization
Round 1 with HR/Recruiter, scheduled by you
Round 2 with Team Lead, scheduled by the recruiter
didn't make it past round 2 so wouldn't know
