The interview process was pretty smooth. One month after I submitted my application online, I was invited for a F2F interview. It was a round-table group interview, with myself and 4 others being asked a couple of questions each by a hiring panel of 3 AA employees. Afterward, we were taken back to do a hands-on test, specific geared toward our department's requirements. Only a few of us passed both steps, so we were held back while the others were free to go. After meeting with the department manager and having the opportunity to ask questions about the job/scheduling/etc, they called each of us back to an office. I received a conditional job offer on the spot with my starting rate of pay. Within a few days, I received a phone call/email from a recruiter to schedule my drug screen. Four days after doing that, I received the official email that I was clear for takeoff and provided with my start date. I'm thrilled to be a part of the new American...good luck to everyone!
