I applied online. The process took 4 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX) in May 2016
Interview
I applied in February, took my video interview in March and have my F2F scheduled this Friday, May 16th. While the process has been long for me, I look forward to being a future flight attendant.
The online application is just like any other you'd full out. At the end there is an assesment where they ask you basic customer service questions with scenarios and also how you would handle certain scenarios. If you pass that then you submit you application.
Then it is on to the video application which is really awkward. I would like to say I have a pretty great personality and it was kind of challenging for me to let that fully shine through. After all, you're just talking to yourself in a room alone. But just smile smile smile and give the best answer you can possibly give. I thought I caught myself rambling on trying to use up the time but apparently, that worked.
The next step is getting the email for face to face. The guy that did my item art was so friendly, I had to change it because they originally had me driving to SFO which is 4 hours from me. He was very helpful and made the process so easy.
I have my face to face tomorrow and I am nervous!!!
