I received a call from someone in New York for a phone screening, Person was very sweet over the phone and then connected me with a person in my local office, Chicago. I get to the office in Chicago and am told to wait a bit because the manager is busy. As I wait for the interview, the person at the desk in the front talks to me and complains about the heavy case load. During the interview, I am shown around the office. The interviewer did not seem to understand that I was laid off from my previous job, kept rephrasing the question in different ways. Overall she was very thorough in her questioning but no notes were being taken and my resume had to be taken off the printer and read (in front of me) just before my interview.
